The best defence in a knife attack is to RUN! But this may not always be an option! If you find yourself in a confined space facing one or more knife-wielding assailants, you will need a solid set of knife defence skills
​
Knife attacks are fast, brutal and unpredictable. It has been demonstrated time and again in real street attacks that a knife will beat a gun at a distance of 7m. Knives are so easily accessible that many criminals on our South African streets use this as their weapon of choice: kitchen knives to screwdrivers, to pangas and axes.
In this three hour seminar you will cover defence against knife hold-ups against a wall or by multiple attackers
as well as dynamic knife attacks.

DO I HAVE TO BE FIT?

The great news is that you do not need to be fit to do this course.
-
You don't need any prior combat or martial arts experience.
-
We train you to neutralise an attacker within 3 seconds. So you only need the fitness to last this long. This is not a UFC MMA fight of multiple 5 minute rounds. Defence in a street fight requires that the fight be over within seconds.
